The Powers School Board welcomes qualified candidates to apply for the position of Superintendent/K-12 Principal. This position would officially begin on July 1, 2025 and would include a three-year contract through June 30, 2028. The candidate must possess a current Oregon Administrator license or be eligible to secure an Oregon license prior to the start date of July 1, 2025.
Powers School District serves approximately 122 students in grades K-12 in a 4-day school week,
Salary and Benefits shall include a salary range of $100-135,000 plus appropriate additional benefits.

POSITION TITLE: Elementary School Teacher
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach in an elementary school setting – Grades K-6
QUALIFICATIONS: Hold or be eligible for Oregon Teaching Certificate with an Elementary endorsement. Applicants may be given preference for additional endorsements
SALARY: The current salary range is $43,932.00 to $84,588.00. The Powers School District #31 pays PERS.
CONTRACT LENGTH: The current length is 185 days

The average class size is less than 10 students. Powers is also starting a 4 day school week next year, so there will be fewer commutes and less student contact days.
